The commitment of the national government through the "Red Colombia Compite" and Colciencias to integrate the efforts that different Production Centers have been carrying out in their respective areas of influence, led to the creation of the " Red Colombiana de Centros de Productividad" (Colombian network of Productivity Centers) that actually bonds nine (9) centers and institutions and is coordinated by the National Productivity Center. In the network like the Ministry of Foreign Trade, the National Planning Department (DNP), Colciencias, Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the Sena also participate by supporting the work of the network as interlocutors in the concertation of polices and by providing resources for development of activities.
The network has made possible sharing, on a national level, the benefits of the Japanese Cooperation; implement national capacities in the topic of productivity measurement preparing and equiping counselors; know the state of art in what has to do with methodology for development of clusters and production chains.
In the near future the network has decided to work on the promotion of culture and productivity; in the homologation of measuring systems; the implementation of an integrated system; the expansion of the international cooperation and a larger capacity of dialogue toward the national government in the design of public polices that lead to the increasement of the country's productivity and competitiveness.

To be recognized for its strategic to integrate social and territorially the productivity movement and make of its own, the best skills and knowledge for productivity improvement.
MISION
Contribute to the consolidation of productivity in Colombia through the integration and development of the capacities of the associate centers.
The network promotes conceptual and practical development for the improvement of productivity in companies and organizations in the various regions and the country, in a permanent and integrated way; it sponsors the apprenticeship, the development and reciprocal cooperation of the actor in the productivity movement.

- AUTONOMY AND INTERDEPENDENCE: No activity will be developed, no decission will be made at a higher level if it is possible to be done at a more local level. Each center is autonomous in its patrimony, administratively and institutionally.
